Cory Phillips:

Cory is the founder of Take One and has been acting since 2005. He started the team back in 2007 as a way to do improv to help his acting career. Cory has led his actors with charisma and stamina rivaled by none. His commitment to Take One has been an inspiration to everyone.

Danielle Yoshiko Phillips:

Danielle is an actress, writer, horse lover, and cracker enthusiast. Most weekends she can be found performing or practicing improv, and when not playing pretend she enjoys cracking open a good sci-fi book. She has a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Texas Tech University and previously worked as a reporter and anchor.

Aaron Michael:

Aaron is a musician, actor, and improviser. His interest in these art forms has led him to join Take One and the experience has been more fulfilling than he could have asked for. Being on stage with Take One is beneficial both with acting and performing, but more importantly it has allowed Aaron the chance to become a part of a great family of performers.

Roger Connelly II:

Roger Connelly II is a man who lives outside of time. That is to say, he has no concept of time. Everything seems vaguely 2 years ago to him... When he lived in Japan - 2 years ago. When he graduated from Oklahoma State University with an Advertising degree - 2 years ago. When he wrote ads for television & radio - 2 years ago. When he first started improvising - 2 years ago. When the picture for this bio was taken - 2 years ago. In retaliation, time has no concept of Roger.

John Gerhardt

John Gerhardt has been a performer with Take One since 2010 and has been improvising since he was 16. He is an improv instructor at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater in Dallas, Texas where he performs regularly with Take One and other house teams like KEVIN!, an improvised musical fairytale show. When he's not being asked by other members to lift heavy things, he's lifting the hearts of those around him with his mensch mentality.

Tiffany Gutierrez:

Tiffany is the current Executive Director of Take One. She has been improvising with Take One since 2014 and has experience in theatre, musical theatre, and teaching dance (ballroom and hip-hop). Besides art, she has a love for the natural sciences: currently working on her Microbiology degree while working as a toxicologist. Exercising both her right and left brain makes her a wonderful asset to the Take One team!

Pallas Johnson:

Pallas Johnson received her Bachelor’s degree in Theater and Communication Education from the University of Central Oklahoma and her Masters in Library and Information Studies from the University of Oklahoma. She has held the positions of President of Alpha Psi Omega at UCO and Managing Director of Take One Productions. Pallas obtained an award in Theater Excellence at UCO. Pallas has garnered special recognition from the American College Theater Festival for Excellence in Choreography. She has been performing and teaching improv professionally with Take One Productions since 2011. She currently holds the position of Education Director of OKC Improv.

Kate McLain-Snipes:

Kate loves comedy in all forms and has been an enthusiastic member of Take One since 2017. She can be found practicing improv most weekdays and performing improv most weekends. She studied film and video production with Gray Frederickson at the Oklahoma Film Institute and has enjoyed writing, directing and editing comedy shorts since high school. She likes the comedy rule of threes, refusing to use the Oxford comma and writing about herself using the third person.

Kyler Lee Johnson

Kyler normally spends his days working in IT; turning things off and back on again, but he has an unparalleled obsession with making people laugh and obscure internet memes. Improv seemed like the best way to do both. He likes sing, dance, pretend, and have fun fun fun fun fun! Tragically, he does not own a kazoo.

Alison Michele Maruška

Alison joined Take One at the end of 2019. Interested in voice acting, Alison listened to all of the voice actors that said “Take acting classes to be better at voice acting”. So one dungeons and dragons game and two classes at OKC Improv later, she plucked up the courage to audition for Take One. Now that they’ve let her in, she’s not leaving. A Director of Take One, Alison helps write sketches, filming, and uses her organizing skills required to herd cats…performers. She enjoys musicals, fantasy, anime, drawing, and writing.

Stevie Morrison

Stevie is an Oklahoma transplant and registered nurse. She found her way to comedy through the pathway of being an attention-hungry middle child, and compulsively using humor to cope with the pressures of the medical field. She tried improv classes to overcome stage fright and found the goofy, genuine, creative people she'd always known were out there but never seemed to find. Now having a full-blown addiction, she hopes to continue performing improv and bring joy and happiness to as many people as possible.

Eric Sorrels

Eric Sorrels has been an improviser with Take One since February 2020. Having cut his teeth on internet roleplay forums, Dungeons & Dragons, and high school theater, he has emerged from the hyperbolic time chamber of OKC Improv and Take One as a powerful force to be reckoned with in his own right. A potent dual-wielder of improv comedy and sketch writing, he currently aspires to voice act, direct, perform stand-up, and continue to hone his skills to spread joy and share his passion with the world.

Kristian Eros

Kristian is an actor for voice, stage and on-camera who works with companies such as FUNimation, Blizzard, Okratron 5000 and more. Kristian is on a lifelong journey to seek talented colleagues and hone his acting skills. Once he saw Take One perform at Stomping Ground Comedy Theater in Dallas, Kristian had a new goal: join their ranks and steal all of their comedy genius. Step one is complete. Step two is currently in progress.

Clara Curtis

Clara is like a sort-of-not-really masked vigilante, selling restaurant equipment by day and making up silly characters with even sillier voices by night. She fell in love with improv in 2016 after hearing about classes being a possibility from watching a Game Grumps video, joining a class at OKCI that evening, and then becoming a part of Take One three years later, cementing her absolute devotion to the art. She has her BFA in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design but strangely does not draw as much as she engages in comedic make-believe, and making up pirate crews for her DnD characters that are somehow, amazingly, always glamor bards. In her free time she demonstrates restaurant supply prowess by flipping over (hopefully clean) plates to figure out who made them and memorizing dinosaur facts.
